Director of Service Line Engagement Marketing

We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven healthcare marketing leader to join our organization in a highly visible Director, Client Engagement role.

This position serves as a key marketing partner to internal stakeholders across the enterprise, helping drive strategic marketing initiatives, service line growth, community engagement, and patient access initiatives across a leading healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background within healthcare, hospital systems, academic medicine, or complex healthcare organizations and thrives in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment where relationship-building, strategic thinking, and execution are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team responsible for enterprise and service line initiatives
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with organizational priorities and growth objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary marketing partner to key internal stakeholders including physician leaders, operations teams, and service line leadership
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and effectively navigate a complex healthcare environment
  • Oversee marketing initiatives across service lines, digital health, outreach, specialty programs, and strategic projects
  • Monitor campaign performance, patient engagement metrics, and marketing outcomes to ensure measurable impact
  • Collaborate closely with Communications, Outreach, Market Development, and leadership teams to ensure alignment across initiatives
  • Bring innovative ideas, strategic insights, and market intelligence to support organizational growth and community engagement
  • Manage budgets, priorities, timelines, and team performance in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience within healthcare, hospital systems, academic medicine, or related healthcare environments
  • 7+ years of leadership and people management experience
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and navigating highly matrixed organizations
  • Strong background in strategic marketing, stakeholder engagement, service line marketing, and growth initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution and project management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from concept through execution
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
