Director of Quality

A & A Plating Inc. is a specialized aerospace metal finishing company focused on high-reliability, hermetically sealed connectors and precision components. We are AS9100 certified and actively advancing toward NADCAP Chemical Processing accreditation (AC7108).

We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Director to take full ownership of our Quality Management System and lead our next phase of growth.

This is a full-time, long-term leadership position — not a temporary or project-based role.

You will play a key role not only in achieving NADCAP accreditation, but in leading and sustaining our quality system well beyond it.

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead NADCAP (AC7108) preparation, gap analysis, and audit readiness
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, auditors, and registrars
• Oversee nonconformance, MRB, and corrective action (CAPA) processes
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead Management Review and KPI reporting to leadership
• Ensure process control and special process compliance
• Develop and mentor the quality team
• Build and reinforce a culture of quality, accountability, and consistency

• 8+ years in quality within aerospace or regulated manufacturing
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing a QMS
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and audit processes
• Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and risk-based thinking
• Hands-on leadership style with strong decision-making ability

• NADCAP (AC7108 Chemical Processing) experience
• AS9100 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
• CQE (ASQ) or Six Sigma background

• Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
