A growing, multi-site manufacturer and systems integrator serving industrial infrastructure and energy markets is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead, stabilize, and scale its project execution function.
This is not a traditional PM leadership role. It’s a build + fix + scale opportunity within a high-growth business unit delivering engineered-to-order, prefabricated systems that support energy and utility infrastructure.

🔧 Job Description
This role owns end-to-end project execution across a portfolio of complex, multi-component systems. You will lead the transformation of a fragmented PM structure into a centralized, scalable, and high-performing function across multiple operating locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop the Project Management organization, including team structure, hiring, and performance management
- Own project delivery from handoff through execution, delivery, and closeout
- Drive improvements in schedule adherence, cost control, forecasting, and risk management
- Build and standardize project management processes, tools, and reporting across locations
- Support the rollout and optimization of ERP-driven project and procurement workflows
- Oversee procurement coordination tied to projects, including vendor management and long-lead tracking
- Strengthen supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and procurement to ensure alignment
- Develop repeatable execution models to support scalability and growth

📌 Requirements
- 7–10+ years of project management leadership experience in an industrial or project-based environment
- Proven experience building PM teams, systems, and processes within a growing or evolving organization
- Strong background in project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation
- Experience working cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and supply chain
- Working knowledge of procurement, purchasing, and vendor management
- Experience managing projects across multiple sites
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Background in power conversion, electrical infrastructure, precast, modular, or prefabricated systems
- Experience with ERP implementation or business process transformation
- PMP or similar certification
