In this position... 

As the Director of Product Management for Receivables, you will lead the team responsible for the end-to-end product execution of Statements, Payments, Accounting, and Tax calculations. This is a high-stakes LL5 leadership role sitting at the intersection of Technical Product Management, Finance, Compliance and Core Operations. You will own the Receivables Core Product roadmap while ensuring our most critical financial foundations remain robust, compliant, and seamlessly evolve in alignment with Ford’s broader modernization efforts. This role requires an established Product Management Leader at this level with a proven track record of managing complex revenue systems at scale. You will be responsible for the integrity and stability of the systems that power Ford Credit’s cash flow. Your mission is to ensure the Receivables team operates with technical precision while staying deeply connected to the company's digital evolution.

What you'll do...

While general product management leadership skills are necessary, to thrive in this role, the candidate must possess a deep technical and operational background in financial systems. 

  • Payment & Statement Strategy: Oversee the global roadmap for payment processing and customer statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless customer experience.
  • Financial Integrity: Lead the product execution for Accounting and Tax calculations. Ensure all systems meet requirements, Ford Global Accounting Standards, and internal audit controls.
  • Regulatory & Credit Bureau Compliance: Ensure all receivables products meet rigorous state, federal, and international regulatory requirements, as well as Credit Bureau reporting standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish operating rhythms and performance dashboards to track the health of projects monitoring KPIs, risks, and dependencies across the financial lifecycle.

 

Modernization & Evolution Alignment

  • Transformation Integration: Partner closely with the modernization team to ensure the Receivables roadmap is fully integrated with enterprise modernization efforts. Act as the bridge between current core operations and future-state platforms.
  • Representing the Core: Ensure that the complex requirements of Payments, Tax, and Accounting are accurately represented and protected as the company migrates to new technologies.
  • Continuous Evolution: Proactively identify opportunities to evolve legacy processes within the Receivables space, ensuring the team remains agile and ready to adopt new tools and frameworks delivered by the transformation team.

 

Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the Receivables Core Product team, fostering a culture of “raising the bar” while ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Executive Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across Securitization, Finance, Engineering, Architecture and core operations.
  • Matrix Collaboration: Cultivate high-trust partnerships across Operations, Technology, and the Transformation Office to assure alignment and flawless execution.
