Role Description

The Director of Product Delivery will oversee the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring that product strategies are translated into clear delivery plans and reliably brought to market. This role requires strong project and program management experience, exceptional cross-functional coordination skills, and a proven ability to drive predictable, high-quality delivery in a fastpaced environment


Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

• Establish and maintain delivery frameworks, governance processes, and best practices across product lines.

• Translate product strategies into cross-functional delivery plans, including scheduling, resource planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.

• Work closely with engineering, hardware, design, operations, and commercial teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Oversee project and program management activities to ensure disciplined planning, execution, and tracking of milestones.

• Drive release readiness, including coordination of functional stakeholders, operational preparation, and customer rollout planning.

• Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Identify delivery challenges and implement solutions to improve predictability, communication, and team efficiency.

• Manage and develop a team of product delivery professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.

• Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within delivery operations.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience delivering complex software and/or hardwareintegrated products, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record managing the execution of product plans and multiproduct delivery portfolios.

• Experience managing cross-functional, global delivery teams.

• Experience in retail banking automation (physical, not just digital) technology (essential).

• Strong programme and project management expertise, including planning, prioritisation, and risk management.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding delivery or PMO teams.

• Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, hybrid).

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical and business teams.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in delivery reporting and data-driven decision-making.
