Director of Procurement


A large-scale, diversified enterprise organization is seeking a strategic and transformational procurement leader to oversee and elevate its enterprise-wide procurement function.

This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity responsible for driving sourcing strategy, vendor partnerships, purchasing operations, and procurement modernization across a complex, multi-entity organization. The Director of Procurement will serve as a key member of the organization’s Strategic Leadership Team and help shape long-term operational and financial strategy.


The organization is seeking a commercially minded leader capable of operating at both a strategic and operational level within a fast-paced, highly visible environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide procurement and sourcing operations across multiple business units and departments
  • Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies aligned with organizational growth initiatives
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement and purchasing team
  • Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and process improvement
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and operational stakeholders on enterprise initiatives and capital projects
  • Establish procurement KPIs, governance standards, reporting structures, and best practices
  • Evaluate and improve procurement systems, workflows, policies, and technology utilization
  • Lead complex negotiations and manage critical supplier relationships across the organization
  • Ensure procurement operations remain compliant with internal standards and applicable regulations


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing leadership experience
  • Prior experience leading procurement within a large, complex organization
  • Strong executive presence with experience interfacing directly with senior leadership teams
  • Proven track record driving strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement transformation
  • Experience building and developing procurement teams and organizational structure
  • Strong analytical, financial, and operational acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred


Preferred Background

Experience within hospitality, entertainment, gaming, retail, food & beverage, manufacturing, or other high-volume operational environments is highly attractive.
