We are seeking a Director of Patient Financial Services to lead a high-impact department during an exciting rebuild and expansion phase. 🚀 What You’ll Lead
🔹 Operational & Staff Leadership
Direct daily workflows across Patient Access and Collections teams, oversee full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and staff development while building a culture of accountability and excellence.
🔹 Revenue Integrity & Charge Management
Provide executive oversight of the Charge Master (CDM), charge capture workflows, and regulatory updates to ensure billing accuracy and optimal reimbursement.
🔹 Financial Analysis & A/R Oversight
Own the month-end close process, conduct in-depth A/R analysis, accrual reviews, and strategic planning to protect and strengthen fiscal performance.
🔹 Claims & Collections Management
Supervise the full collections lifecycle including high-complexity accounts, denials and appeals, and contract-based adjustment validation.
🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure operational alignment with corporate compliance and healthcare regulatory standards while monitoring productivity, quality metrics, and performance benchmarks.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
✔ Minimum 8+ years in hospital or community health based financial operations
✔ Deep knowledge of Medical Records, Coding, Billing & Collections
✔ Expertise across the full patient-to-payment lifecycle (Admitting, Authorizations, Vendor Management, Charge Integrity)
✔ Strong data-driven leadership skills — ability to translate analytics into action
✔ Experience leading within structured or union labor environments
✔ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hospital leadership experience (Master’s preferred)
✔ Community hospital experience strongly preferred
✔ Ideal for a Manager ready to step into a Director role or an experienced Director looking to lead a high-impact department
