Director of Operations (Confidential Search)

A rapidly growing industrial solutions organization is seeking a Director of Operations to lead multi-site manufacturing performance and drive operational excellence across two key facilities.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture—while building a best-in-class operational team and scalable processes for continued growth.
What You’ll Own
- Lead full-site operations across manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, planning, and warehouse functions
- Set and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business growth objectives
- Drive performance through KPIs, data, and disciplined execution
- Champion a LEAN-driven culture—not just buzzwords, actual results
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including kaizen events and process standardization
- Ensure a proactive, compliance-driven EHS culture
- Build and develop high-performing leadership teams with strong succession planning
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, HR, supply chain, and executive leadership
- Own budget performance, cost control, and productivity improvements
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations
- Proven success leading LEAN transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of production systems, quality, maintenance, and cost structures
- Experience leading through influence—not just authority
- Ability to scale teams, improve culture, and deliver measurable results
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., molding technologies)
- ERP system experience
- Strong communication and executive presence
