NursePower Services Corporation
Des Plaines, IL

About NursePower

NursePower Services Corp is a family-owned Home Nursing Provider with over 30 years in Illinois. We specialize in private duty nursing for medically fragile children and work closely with state programs, including IDPH and DSCC to deliver consistent, high-quality care in the home.

Why This Role Is Different

This is a leadership role for a clinically strong nurse who wants to take ownership of operations and help strengthen and expand a well-established pediatric home nursing program.

We have a solid foundation, long-standing relationships, and a clear opportunity to build on that momentum. The right person will play a central role in refining processes, supporting the team, and helping the organization reach its full potential.

This role has direct visibility with ownership and meaningful influence over how the program evolves.

The Role

You will lead clinical operations while staying close to the work. This includes patient visits, oversight of nursing staff, quality assurance, and maintaining strong relationships with families and referral sources.

  • Lead and oversee clinical operations for pediatric home nursing services
  • Conduct patient visits and provide clinical oversight
  • Supervise and support field nurses with clear expectations and accountability
  • Ensure Plans of Care are accurate, timely, and compliant
  • Oversee documentation quality and regulatory adherence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, nurses, and referral partners
  • Strengthen relationships within DSCC and related programs
  • Address clinical and service issues promptly and effectively

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Illinois RN license
  • Experience in pediatric home health or private duty nursing
  • Prior leadership experience (Supervisor, Clinical Manager, ADON, or similar)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to operate independently
  • Comfortable in both field and leadership responsibilities
  • Highly organized, responsive, and accountable
  • Familiarity with DSCC or similar programs is strongly preferred

Structure

This position is posted as full-time. We are open to a structured part-time arrangement for the right candidate, particularly if they bring strong experience and established relationships in this space.
