Director of Integrated Operations

A growing industrial equipment company is hiring a hands-on operations leader to take full ownership of manufacturing + supply chain performance.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a fix-it, build-it, make-it-better role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end operations across assembly, machine shop, supply chain, and field service
2. Evaluate and optimize make vs. buy strategies, sourcing, and supplier partnerships
3. Improve project execution, scheduling, and delivery performance
4. Drive accountability and performance across a mixed-tenure workforce
5. Build scalable processes
6. Establish and elevate quality systems and operational discipline

What We’re Looking For

1. Proven leadership experience in manufacturing + supply chain within a small-to-mid-sized capex environment
2. Background in custom, engineered-to-order or job shop manufacturing (not high-volume production)
3. Strong financial acumen with experience improving gross margins and operational performance
4. Experience in industrial automation or electro-mechanical systems
5. Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style
6. Track record in turnaround, transformation, or high-growth environments
7. Ability to lead cultural change and develop teams across experience levels

Preferred:

1. Lean / Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement exposure
2. ERP optimization experience
3. Exposure to quality systems and structured operating frameworks
