• Communicates supply and equipment needs to the Recreation Supervisor
• Is familiar with camper's and staff emergency information and medical concerns and keeps an updated roster on hand.
• Communicates with campers parents with respect to children's medical concerns.
• Makes camp staff aware of campers medical concerns, when necessary, in order to keep children safe
• Makes sure camp staff are following all safety procedures to keep themselves and children safe
• Administers emergency response, first aid, CPR if needed.
• Keeps a logue book for all incidents/accidents, including minor ones.
• Documents all incidents/accidents requiring further medical attention on the issued accident report form and always notifies parents or guardians. Submits detailed completed accident report to Recreation Superintendent within one business day.
• Injuries to staff require a workers compensation form instead of an accident report form.
• Keeps all camp documents and supplies organized.
• Documents behavioral incidents by campers or staff and notifies the Camp Director or Recreation Supervisor
• Submits time sheet to the Recreation Supervisor on a weekly basis
Season: Weekdays starting the end of June until end of July (5 weeks). Must be available for pre-season work to review camper registration forms.
Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 30 hours/week
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
