Our locally owned company traces its history to 1969 when Budd Gould opened the Fox Restaurant in the Bellevue Crossroads, a Steak and Lobster house. The company now operates 26 restaurants and employs over 1,500 team members. Remarkably, more than 100 team members have dedicated 20 or more years of service to Anthony's, and over 250 have been with the company for at least a decade.

Anthony’s Restaurants is looking for a high energy dedicated and passionate Facilities Director to join our family and help us achieve this goal.


Position Summary:

The Director of Facilities is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical condition, safety, and functionality of all restaurant locations. This role leads facility maintenance strategy and execution across the company while also managing remodels, renovations, expansion and capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-focused, results driven, able to balance urgent repairs with long-term planning, vendor performance & negotiations, team leadership and budget accountability.


Job Overview:

  • Build and manage a strong facilities team – both internal and external to be able to support 26 locations with high standards and a sense of urgency.
  • Works with President and CFO on capital and facilities budgeting.
  • Budget construction projects with value engineering.
  • Help digitize records and processes for more effective and streamlined communications.
  • Effectively project manage workflows in a timely manner with strong communications.
  • Effectively work with State and Government employees on permitting, inspections, and appropriate communications.
  • Consistently educate and coach restaurant leaders to protect, maintain and achieve high standards in their building (i.e. winterization of the building)
  • Assist Operation Leaders with education and training on things like chemical procedures, best cleaning practices so not damage facilities.
  • Ensures a schedule is in place with General Managers to maintain cleaning of drains, pumping out grease traps, hood cleaning, fire suppression, fire alarm.
  • Purchase and oversee restaurant equipment, HVAC, refrigeration. Value engineer whether to fix or replace equipment as needed.
  • Vendor Relations – maintain Anthony’s vendor relationship while exploring new relationship where needed.
  • In charge of life safety at all locations to including sprinkler systems, ansul systems, and fire extinguishers.
  • Executes restaurant remodels/refresh. Works with our Design Committee to explore different floor plan lay out for restaurant including tile, fabrics, carpet. Manages dates, ordering, planning, and execution.


Position Requirements:

Hours and Days of Work:

  • 40-50 hours per week depending on volume of work or projects.
  • Flexible schedule, depending on workload and projects underway. Able to work nights and weekends as projects determine.
  • Travel required.
  • This position is EXEMPT Management


Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 10+ years Construction Management experience required
  • Some restaurant experience preferred

  • Salary: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
