We are currently searching for an experienced Director of E-Commerce to join our team. This position would report to our President/CEO, and help to manage and execute ROMAN’s various B2B and B2C initiatives. This position would manage a small team across multiple platforms to executing objective. This is a full-time in-office position.


Primary Responsibilities

·        Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute long-term and short-term ecommerce strategies to hit revenue targets, increase conversion rates, and expand the brand's digital footprint

·        Website & User Experience Management: Oversee the online store’s platform, layout, and functionality to ensure a seamless shopping and checkout experience that removes purchasing barriers

·        Digital Marketing Oversight: Manage the digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, paid media, and email to drive qualified traffic and customer retention

·        Analytics & Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), as well as product category sales, to make data-driven improvements

·        Inventory & Logistics Collaboration: Review available inventory reports to ensure optimal stock levels are allocated to process orders in a timely fashion

·        Team Leadership: Train and lead a team of ecommerce professionals to execute the brand's digital vision

·        Technology & Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party software tools (including AI), agencies, and platform integrations to keep the ecommerce ecosystem secure and scalable


Qualifications & Skills

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field

·        Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, online retail, or ecommerce management; preferably with prior leadership experience

·        Analytical Prowess: Deep familiarity with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and CRM systems

·        Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., EMUN, Shopify, Miva), content management systems, and basic web technology fundamentals

·        Commercial Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen with proven experience managing P&L (Profit and Loss), forecasting demand, and overseeing budgets

·        Communication: Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to align technical and non-technical teams around shared business goals
