Position: Director of DevOps

Location: Hod Hasharon (Hybrid)

We're looking for a Director of DevOps to lead our DevOps group by enabling delivery and building durable and sustainable systems. Our DevOps group deliver and maintain software on a scale - fast, safely with work-life balance included. As organizations scale, heroics and centralized control stop working. This role is about building systems, tools, behaviors, and guardrails that allow teams to move fast without escalation or friction. This is a senior leadership role that combines strong technical expertise with high leadership skills. This role will be part of the management team and will be reporting to the site manager – VP Engineering.

What you will do

  • Lead DevOps and SRE teams.
  • Own AWS architecture and operations.
  • Drive CI/CD, reliability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery.
  • Elevate incident response and operational excellence.
  • Implement deep observability across distributed systems.
  • Lead cloud cost governance and optimization at scale.
  • Oversee production environments, ensuring smooth execution, high performance, and reliability.
  • Partner with product, backend, and customer success teams to ensure world-class DevOps processes that align with business needs.

What makes you an ideal candidate

  • Director level engineering leader – leading 2 teams of DevOps engineers.
  • Designing systems that scale - combined with a hands-on leadership style
  • High Technical skills and credible in modern cloud, infrastructure, CI/CD, and production systems, and can guide architectural and operational tradeoffs
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with AWS, Terraform, K8 and Jenkins
  • Management Style: help grow others, build strong manager, set clear ownership and decision boundaries, and help teams make good decisions independently.
  • Collaborative leader who stays calm under pressure and helps teams work through challenges with clarity, trust, and a shared focus on outcome.
  • Optimize for outcomes, reliability, and customer impact
