Cyber Security Consulting Director

Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid)

Salary: $208,675 - $282,325 Base + 20% Annual Bonus (OTE up to approximately $339,000)

Travel: Approximately 50%

A leading global consulting and technology organisation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consulting Director to join its growing Advisory & Consulting practice.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established cybersecurity professional with recent consulting experience who is comfortable operating at Executive and Board level whilst driving business growth, strategic client engagements and cybersecurity transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity advisory and consulting engagements for enterprise clients.
• Engage directly with C-suite executives, CISOs and senior stakeholders.
• Drive business development, pipeline generation and consulting growth.
• Advise clients on cyber risk, governance, resilience and security strategy.
• Support organisations navigating complex regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Deliver thought leadership and strategic cybersecurity guidance.
• Partner with internal sales, consulting and delivery teams to create new business opportunities.
• Contribute to regional growth targets and consulting revenue objectives.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of Cyber Security experience.
• Recent Cyber Security Consulting or Advisory experience is essential.
• Experience operating at CISO, Deputy CISO, Cyber Security Director, Consulting Director, Managing Director, Partner or equivalent leadership level.
• Proven experience engaging with Boards, C-suite executives and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong business development and client relationship management experience.
• Ability to translate complex cybersecurity challenges into business outcomes.
• Hands-on leadership approach with a willingness to support delivery when required.

Regulatory & Framework Experience

Experience across several of the following:

• DORA
• NIS2
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF)
• ISO 27001
• CMMC
• FEDRAMP
• NYDFS
• GLBA
• HITRUST

Location Requirement

This is a hybrid position based in Edison, New Jersey.

Candidates must either be located within commuting distance of Edison, NJ, or be willing to relocate. This is not a remote opportunity.
