Forge Specialty Partners is a growth-focused platform built through the partnership of leading oral surgery operators and experienced DSO leadership. We offer clinicians the benefits of scale and infrastructure while preserving the autonomy and economics of private practice.

As we accelerate our growth, we are seeking a Corporate Development Director to work closely with senior leadership in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new partnerships.

This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in building a premier specialty platform.


Key Responsibilities


  • Source and develop new affiliation and acquisition opportunities within target markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with specialty practice owners, brokers, and key industry contacts
  • Lead the evaluation of opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation, and strategic fit
  • Manage the diligence process, including coordination of internal teams and third-party advisors
  • Present and communicate Forge’s partnership model and negotiate transaction terms
  • Partner with senior leadership to refine growth strategy and execute transactions
  • Support post-close integration planning and value creation initiatives
  • Partner with clinical leadership to attract high-quality associate surgeons and develop pathways to long-term partnership within the platform
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ownership


Qualifications


  • Experience in M&A (investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or direct lending) or healthcare services business development
  • Strong ability to build relationships with small business owners and senior executives
  • Experience in healthcare services or multi-site, acquisition-driven organizations preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Charleston, SC


Compensation


Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus.
