Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Growth & MembershipLead the growth and positioning of the Global Retail Leaders community as a premier network of senior retail executives.Define and track KPIs tied to community growth, engagement, and revenue impact.Oversee the recruitment, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing member experience.Serve as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring a high-quality and personalized experience across all community touchpoints.Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen the value and positioning of the community within the global retail ecosystem.Ecosystem Engagement & Member RecruitmentBuild and maintain strong relationships across the global retail ecosystem, including retailers, brands, technology providers, investors, and industry organizations.Identify, recruit, and cultivate senior retail leaders who should be part of the Global Retail Leaders community through direct outreach and industry relationships.Actively participate in retail industry events, conferences, and gatherings to strengthen RETHINK Retails presence and identify potential members.Develop and manage ongoing communications to keep members informed and engaged across all of RETHINK Retail communities.Oversee community discussion groups across platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.Continuously engage with members to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and improve programming and engagement.Community Programming, Content & EventsDesign and execute programming that facilitates meaningful peer-to-peer connections and industry dialogue among senior executives.Collaborate with the RETHINK Retail events team to integrate GRL activations into major industry conferences.Support members in amplifying their professional voices through participation in RETHINK Retail initiatives and media channels.Coordinate with editorial and marketing teams to feature members across content, podcasts, events, and other visibility opportunities.QualificationsStrong familiarity with the retail, commerce, or retail technology industry.5+ years of experience in community leadership, executive programs, professional networks, or industry events within the retail or commerce ecosystem.Strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage senior leaders.Experience organizing virtual and in-person professional events.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Ideal BackgroundWe welcome candidates who have built strong networks within the retail and commerce ecosystem, including professionals such as:Former retail operators or executivesPartnership or ecosystem leaders within retail technology companiesConference, community, or industry program builders focused on retail or commerceEx titles Director of Community, Head of Membership, Executive Network Director, Head Community or PlatformCandidates who have experience connecting industry leaders, facilitating conversations, and building trusted professional networks will be especially well suited for this role.Additional InformationThis role reports to the VP of Community & Strategy at RETHINK Retail.This is a fully remote position, requiring strong self-management, organization, and accountability.The role includes regular participation in industry events and conferences, and may require travel throughout the year.
