Director of Civil Engineering

Position: Director of Civil Engineering

Compensation: $150,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead the Civil Engineering discipline across the firm
• Mentor and develop civil engineering staff
• Support business development and client meetings
• Oversee project managers, engineers, and designers
• Monitor staffing levels and workload distribution
• Champion QA/QC processes and technical standards
• Collaborate with surveying, geotechnical, and other consultants
• Support budgeting and financial performance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and NCEES Registration
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Experience in multidisciplinary design environments
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with integrated project delivery
• Familiarity with surveying and geotechnical collaboration
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
