REPORTS/RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will report directly to the Deputy County Manager.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
This key position is responsible for overseeing County-owned real estate, the purchasing of land for County use, the development of government buildings, parks, and greenways, vehicle maintenance and management, energy management, security services and courier services. The position directs the planning, design and construction, operations, maintenance, and security of County-owned buildings, infrastructure, and real estate assets. Key duties include managing capital projects, utility usage, maintenance contracts, energy management, and ensuring safe, sustainable, and compliant operations. The Director ensures that the County’s assets and services align with strategic goals, maintain high-quality standards, and support the broader mission of the organization.
