As part of Schwab Investment Products & Solutions Services (SIPSS), you will join a dynamic group focused on delivering a broad suite of investment products and solutions, helping clients achieve their financial goals. SIPSS brings togetherexpertisein product development, offer management, platform strategy, and delivery—ensuring Schwab’s leadership in wealth and investment management.
This is a senior business leadership role responsible for the strategy, evolution, and performance of Schwab’s core investment product offerings—ETFs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, and 529 plans. This role ownswhatSchwab offers clients and advisors andhowthose offerings show up across the platform.
You’lldefine and deliver the strategic roadmap for Core Investment Products and Offers (ETFs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, 529 plans), lead complexcross functionalwork, partner with asset managers, and shape client and advisor experiences at scale. This isinvestment product ownership, not technology product management.
WhatYou’llDo:
- Own theend-to-endstrategy and roadmap for Schwab’s core investment products
- Leadcross functionaldelivery across Product, Research, Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance
- Partner closely with Investor Services and Adviser Services to improve client and advisor outcomes
- Identifymarket trends and client needs to drive product and platform enhancements
- Influence senior leaders through clear,data drivenexecutive communication
- Drive initiatives from concept to launch with measurable results
- Build, lead, and develop ahigh performinginvestment product team
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ yearsleading investment products, offers, or platforms within financial services, with direct experience inETFs, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, or 529 plans
- 3+ years in strategy consulting, investment product management, or offer managementrole
- Provenownership of product strategy and deliveryfor complex, regulated offerings—beyond concept or advisory roles
- Directpeople leadershipexperience, including building and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions through concise storytelling anddata backedrecommendations
- Track recordofoperatingeffectively inmatrixed, ambiguous environmentsand driving outcomes without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degreerequired
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding ofinvestment distribution models, platforms, and advisor workflows
- Experience partnering withasset managers or external product providers
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to simplify complex problems into clear decisions
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate experience
