The Director, Global Market Insights leads the generation of actionable market and competitive insights to inform global commercial strategy and business decision-making. This role serves as a strategic advisor to Commercial and Executive Leadership, translating complex data into clear, decision-ready insights that shape portfolio strategy, market positioning, and long-term growth. The Director will also establish scalable insights capabilities and drive a culture of data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Lead comprehensive assessment of global market dynamics, competitive landscape, and pipeline activity to inform strategic planning and portfolio decisions
• Develop forward-looking insights to identify risks, opportunities, and evolving market trends
• Deliver executive-ready insights, reports, and recommendations to support decision-making
Analytics & Insight Generation
• Integrate diverse data sources (primary research, secondary data, and internal performance insights) to drive comprehensive analysis
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to monitor market and business performance
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Primary Market Research & Vendor Management
• Design and oversee qualitative and quantitative research initiatives across key stakeholder groups
• Ensure rigorous research methodologies, high-quality execution, and compliance with applicable regulations
• Manage external research vendors and agency partners
Strategic Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted advisor to Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial leadership
• Support strategic planning processes, including annual planning and portfolio prioritization
• Ensure alignment between insights generation and key business priorities
Leadership & Capability Building
• Establish enterprise standards, tools, and best practices for market insights and research
• Build scalable frameworks and processes to support insights generation across regions and brands
• Foster a culture of analytical rigor and continuous improvement
