Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a dynamic, innovative leader as the new Director of the Division of Cardiology and Co-Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute. We ask for your help in identifying candidates, either by applying or by nominating someone you feel is ideally suited for the position.
The Division’s mission is to continue to thrive as a world leader in clinical care, research, and education. The Director will serve as a visible clinician/educator and/or scientist, foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, and provide strategic oversight for Cardiology across the tripartite mission.
Candidates for the position should embrace all parts of the tripartite mission and have a demonstrated record of excellence in one or more of its components. Also, candidates are expected to have a record of service and administration, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, a history of fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, and a compelling vision for the division and the discipline.
