As Director, you will lead the Platform Governance team for Lumi, our next-generation Big Data platform.

  • Oversee platform risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations, ensuring transparency, consistency, and audit readiness across all platform capabilities
  • Establish scalable governance models that balance innovation and control, enabling rapid adoption of Lumi while maintaining regulatory resilience
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate governance, data controls, and compliance requirements directly into platform workflows and tooling
  • Lead initiatives to modernize governance through automation and emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI-enabled knowledge management, audit acceleration)
  • Influence enterprise data strategy by shaping how governance is applied across critical data domains and high-value production use cases, and by establishing scalable governance patterns adopted across other major enterprise platforms
  • Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, critical thinking, and continuous learning

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, and emerging AI/ML use cases, with the ability to translate governance requirements into scalable solutions
  • Proven ability to operate across senior stakeholders and multiple lines of defense, driving alignment in ambiguous and high-stakes environments
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable enterprise impact
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and influence decision-making at senior levels
  • Demonstrated ability to balance innovation and control, enabling progress while maintaining compliance and risk standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise data platforms or cloud-based data ecosystems
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, audit processes, and financial services compliance requirements
  • Experience driving automation or modernization of governance practices
