POSITION: Director, Digital Customer Experience Technology
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC 28217 (Onsite – 5 days/week)
COMPENSATION: Up to $200,000 base salary + 20% annual bonus

OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Director, Digital Customer Experience Technology to lead the strategy and execution of large-scale digital initiatives that enhance the end-to-end customer journey. This role will play a key part in shaping and delivering modern digital capabilities across mobile, web, ecommerce, and omnichannel platforms. You will partner closely with senior leadership to drive innovation, modernize the digital ecosystem, and deliver customer-focused technology solutions that support both front-end experiences and internal business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the success of the digital technology portfolio, ensuring alignment to business goals and measurable value delivery.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on digital strategy, execution, and technology investments.
- Define and execute digital technology strategy across customer-facing and internal platforms.
- Drive innovation across the customer journey, with a focus on digital channels and emerging technologies.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, marketing, and operations teams.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, accruals, and financial management for digital initiatives.
- Manage vendors and evaluate technology solutions to support enterprise needs.
- Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure successful program delivery.
- Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Assess complex challenges, provide strategic recommendations, and drive continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling digital products (mobile, web, ecommerce, personalization, analytics) within large retail or consumer-facing organizations.
- 5+ years of experience at the Director level or above.
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems supporting loyalty, marketing, payments, and merchandising.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise omnichannel platforms.
- Proven success with Agile/Lean delivery methodologies at scale.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, AR/VR, and automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience developing business cases and justifying technology investments.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and project delivery.
- Experience managing vendors and leading solution evaluation and selection efforts.
Compensation:
$200,000 per year, starting base salary + 20% bonus potential.
