Harmann Young are partnered with an innovative clinical-stage biotech advancing cell-free regenerative therapies derived from the secretome - leveraging the therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles and biologically active factors to address serious unmet needs in rare diseases.

They are now seeking an Associate Director/Director level MD to lead clinical efforts within a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) cardiomyopathy programme, supporting a novel approach targeting cardiac complications in DMD.

This is a fully remote opportunity offering strong scientific ownership within a lean and highly collaborative clinical development environment.

The Role

This is a physician-led clinical development position focused on:

• Clinical trial design and execution within DMD (cardiomyopathy focus)
• Medical monitoring and oversight of ongoing studies
• Safety review, data interpretation, and clinical reporting
• Close collaboration with Clinical Development, CRO partners, and cross-functional teams

You’ll play a critical role translating early clinical insights into robust development strategy, with direct impact on programme progression.

What They’re Looking For

• MD-qualified (essential)
• Prior experience in clinical trials (design, implementation, monitoring)
• Background in DMD strongly preferred, with additional exposure to:
• Rare neurology or
• Rare cardiology indications
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, high-ownership environment
• Strong scientific and clinical judgement with the ability to work cross-functionally
