Communications & Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy. Our Public Affairs, Communications and Brand Management team is expanding! Wells Fargo’s In-House Agency (IHA) is looking for a Digital Producer/Platforms Expert to drive new platforms and capabilities for our agency team and marketing partners.

More specifically, we’re looking for a digital production and systems guru who has solid ad-agency experience implementing enterprise-level email, ad-serving, CMS and targeted marketing platforms and has taken that charge to large scale clients.

This person will speak the language of agency workflow systems, marketing personalization and content management and have a proven ability to activate new platforms and integrations, solve for multiple stakeholder needs, brainstorm possibilities, manage critical path through digital development projects, and is a “connector” who can network with internal and external teams to marshal the resources needed to reliably deliver great results.

The Digital Producer/Platforms Expert will be part of a specialized team reporting to our Director of Digital Development and will take their place in a robust group of digital talent, featuring in-house Front- and Back-end developers, a Video Motion Graphics team, a CX strategy team and dedicated social and technology support experts who share responsibility for digital innovation and adoption across marketing teams and programs at Wells Fargo.

You must have a deep understanding of Martech platforms, integrations and processes using these platforms, be a powerhouse project manager, a customer champion, and thrive on team collaboration as we build a truly world-class in-house agency together. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading discovery, planning and scoping efforts to identify operational/development requirements to integrate creative/marketing processes and systems, and to define content creation workflows necessary to activate new marketing capabilities
  • Advising on digital development process and available development platforms, brainstorms, leads in solution development, consults and advises team on best practices and applications to guide project planning
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation in support of internal creative teams and clients in development and approval of digital project solutions from intake and scoping documents to project plans, requirements, testing plans and deployment communications
  • Scheduling and coordinating digital development production efforts including critical path prototyping and management of phased releases

Additional Expectations of This Role Include: 

  • Serving as an agency knowledge-bank for digital project planning, channel governance, compliance and assessment of feasibility
  • Partnering with Account, Strategy, Creative, Video Production and Project Management colleagues to ensure on-time and on-brief execution and delivery
  • Ensuring adherence to best practices in addition to adoption of new approaches
  • Working closely with other creative team leaders to build our culture of inspired talent and creative problem solvers
  • Identifying and managing external development partners to extend our team skills and capacity when needed
  • Representing the IHA team in both internal and client presentations, effectively communicating both strategic quality and creative rationale
  • Maintaining a thorough and current awareness of the competitive and cultural landscape as it pertains to communications in digital/social/mobile customer touchpoints

Location: This position will reside in either Minneapolis, MN; San Francisco, CA; or Charlotte, NC

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media) demonstrated through work or military experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Experience in digital production across all channels, platforms and devices
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma or reengineering disciplines


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 6+ years of marketing/advertising project management experience
  • 6 years as a Digital Producer or Marketing Technology Producer
  • Marketing agency experience
  • Experience with large scale digital projects (i.e. websites, CMS, email, microsites, apps) including requirements gathering, solution brainstorming, production schedules, budgets
  • Experience onboarding enterprise level marketing process and/or delivery platforms (CRM, CMS, DAM, DMP, TMS, Email Platforms, Tagging Systems, Workflow Systems, etc.)
  • Experience in digital project management, platforms, coding language and constraints, as well as requirements for various channels including owned, social, and paid outlets
  • Experience in production integration including data capture and validation solutions, web services, API integrations, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to adapt quickly to changing  priorities
