About the Role:

We are hiring a Digital Merchandising Specialist to support Client’s APLA (Asia Pacific & Latin America) Sportwear Footwear team. This role focuses on consumer-first merchandising, leveraging data, insights, and marketplace trends to build impactful product assortments.

This is a hands-on role (5–10 years' experience) ideal for professionals with a background in digital merchandising, merchandise planning, or buying within footwear/apparel/sporting goods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support seasonal assortment plans based on consumer insights and marketplace trends
  • Analyze POS data, sell-through, inventory, and KPIs to drive merchandising decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Operations
  • Support product selection and SKU-level decision-making for specific markets
  • Identify opportunities to optimize product mix, pricing, and distribution
  • Deliver insights through Excel-based reporting and dashboards


Required Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in digital merchandising, merchandise planning, or buying
  • Experience in footwear, apparel, or sporting goods industry
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs (sell-through, margin, inventory turns, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with assortment planning and product selection
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting)
  • Ability to translate consumer insights into actionable merchandising strategies
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with APLA markets (Asia Pacific / Latin America)
  • Knowledge of sneaker culture and consumer trends
  • Experience in Nike or similar global retail brands
  • Language skills: Spanish, Korean, Japanese, or Portuguese

This role is NOT focused on Visual Merchandising (store design, layouts, in-store displays).

We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in digital merchandising, buying, or merchandise planning.
