Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Dialysis Nurse, you will provide specialized, compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing various dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
Every day you will assess patient conditions, proficiently initiate and monitor dialysis treatments, educate patients on their disease and treatment plan, meticulously manage vascular access, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
To be successful in this role you will combine a strong clinical background in dialysis with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional patient education skills, and the ability to manage complex care plans while advocating for our patient's well-being.
- Manages and coordinates the care of patients in a defined care delivery model, utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning implementation and evaluation.
- Supervises and/or provides all nursing care provided to an assigned population. Any delegated care is based on the abilities and limitations of care personnel and patient acuity. Continually monitors the delivery of care or clinical technique appropriate to the patient.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Accountable for patient/family education.
- Documents nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing standards of care.
- Provides a safe environment and promotes quality patient care through adherence to established standards.
Job RequirementsRequired
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and
- One (1) year of acute care experience within the last three (3) years and
- Completion of Hemodialysis training program and
- Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
Preferred
- Bachelors Of Nursing and
- Previous Hemodialysis experience and
