What's the Job?

  • Provide direct, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring comfort and safety during dialysis treatments.
  • Accurately document patient information and treatment data to support effective healthcare delivery.
  • Assist licensed nurses with pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments and recordkeeping.
  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including initiating CPR when necessary, and assist with all emergency operational procedures.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Previous experience in patient care within a hospital or related healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Additional education in physical sciences or laboratory techniques is a plus.
