We are seeking a proactive Digital Experience (DEX) Engineer who combines expertise in site reliability and telemetry engineering. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between IT infrastructure and end-user satisfaction. You will be responsible for optimizing system performance and ensuring that all organizational tools—including applications, cloud services, and enterprise sites—feel fast, seamless, and reliable for all users (employees and customers alike).
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Experience Monitoring: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance of key enterprise collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365, Teams, and Intune.
- Performance & Reliability Optimization: Focus on minimizing disruptions such as application freezing (e.g., MS Teams), email delays, authentication/login lag, and network/VPN performance issues.
- Telemetry & Metrics Tracking: Measure and analyze user experience data using advanced telemetry tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as device boot times, application crashes, and login delays.
- Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify recurring technical patterns and take proactive measures to resolve systemic issues before they impact the broader workforce.
- Automation & Remediation: Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate device clean-up, fix configurations, and streamline IT infrastructure health.
Qualifications & Technical Competencies
- DEX & Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with digital experience monitoring tools such as Nexthink, SysTrack, Aternity, and Microsoft Endpoint Analytics (or other RUM/DEM tools).
- Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for system cleanup and configuration fixes.
- IT Infrastructure Understanding: Solid foundational knowledge connecting back-end IT infrastructure (networks, cloud services, authentication) with front-end user experience.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to analyze patterns, troubleshoot effectively, and drive continuous improvement in tech reliability.
