Overview
As aDevSecOps Architect, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice delivering features to support cloud and application development. We are looking for candidates with 8-10years of experiencewith cloud platform services and DevSecOps practices such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and process automation. You will act as both technical visionary andbe responsible forhands-on delivery.
Contributions
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing development tools and infrastructure for automation
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Automatingand improvingdevelopment, testing, deployment, and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Performingroot cause analysis on complex business processes and technical components.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifyingtechnical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Supportingenterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure through infrastructure as code including any activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, and monitoring and testing, such as CI/CD
- Documentingas-is state of the environment, performinga gap analysis, and producingartifacts that articulate options and recommendations
- Leveragingvirtualization and containerization tooptimizeand modernize software systems
- Actingas an individual contributor and mentor team members
- Engineeringand implementingsolutionsand providingrecommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
- Presentingregular status updates and providingcross-training to other DevOps team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
- Bachelor’sDegree in an IT-relatedfieldand 10+ years of experience
- 8+ years ofexperience with one or more clouds(i.e.AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 8+years ofexperience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- 8+years ofexperience with one or more programming or scripting languages
- 8+years ofexperience implementingDevSecOpspracticeswithin an Agiledevelopmentenvironment
- 3+ years of experience implementing containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- 8+ years ofexperience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestrationusing tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- 8+ years ofexperience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHubActions,CircleCI,TravisCI
- Experience implementing and managing industry-standard DevSecOps tools across the SDLC
- Experience integrating test automation including performance, security, and functional tests into CI/CD pipelines
Preferred:
- MS Degreein an IT-related field
- Certifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- AWS Certified SolutionsArchitect–Professional
- Microsoft Certified:DevOps Engineer Expert
- SAFeDevOps Certification
- Experience implementingautomatedtesting frameworks(e.g.,Selenium)
- Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, performinga gap analysis, and producingartifacts that articulate options and recommendations
- Experience with scripting inlanguages such asBash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaborative skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
