Job Title: DevOps/Container Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience supporting and administering JFrog Artifactory in a containerized enterprise environment. This role will focus on artifact management, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation across Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms. The engineer will also leverage Python and Terraform to automate workflows, support platform scalability, and maintain reliable CI/CD artifact distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support JFrog Artifactory repositories across enterprise environments.
- Work with JFrog ecosystem tools, including Xray for security scanning and Distribution/Edge nodes for artifact replication and distribution.
- Support and maintain OpenShift container orchestration platforms, including namespace setup and workload management.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based container workloads and ensure platform reliability and scalability.
- Automate operational tasks using Python scripting.
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage platform resources.
- Work closely with DevOps, platform engineering, and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and artifact lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot platform and container orchestration issues across the DevOps toolchain.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory administration.
- Experience with JFrog Xray and Distribution / Edge nodes.
- Solid Python scripting skills for automation.
- Experience supporting OpenShift environments, including namespace creation and workload management.
- Strong understanding of OpenShift as a container orchestration platform.
- Experience working with Kubernetes container platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and artifact lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with enterprise DevOps platforms and container security best practices.
- Experience operating in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
