We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Operations & Device Deployment Specialist to support the day-to-day operations, device management, deployments, and customer support activities that help ensure successful client experiences.
Position Overview
The Device Deployment and Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational delivery of MobexHealth solutions by prepping and coordinating deployments, setting up mobile device management and cellular connectivity, maintaining inventory, provisioning tablets and kiosks, managing technical support requests, troubleshooting devices, and supporting internal teams and clients.
This role serves as a key operational resource, ensuring devices, applications, and user environments are properly configured, deployed, tracked, and supported throughout the customer lifecycle.
Annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 firm.
Key Responsibilities
Device Deployment & Logistics
- Prepare tablets, kiosks, and devices for client deployments.
- Configure devices according to client and program requirements.
- Enroll devices into Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Install applications, settings, content, and security configurations.
- Coordinate shipment and delivery of devices to clients and deployment locations.
- Track deployment status and maintain deployment documentation.
- Verify device readiness and functionality before shipment.
- Coordinate device replacement and redeployment activities.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for tablets, kiosks, accessories, SIM cards, and related equipment.
- Track device assignments, inventory levels, and asset locations.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Monitor inventory needs and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Maintain asset tracking systems and deployment logs.
- Support periodic inventory audits and reporting.
Mobile Connectivity & Device Administration
- Manage SIM card inventory, activation, and assignment processes.
- Coordinate carrier-related troubleshooting and service requests.
- Monitor device connectivity and cellular service issues.
- Assist with device lifecycle management and replacement planning.
- Support security and compliance requirements related to device management.
Returns, Repairs & RMA Management
- Coordinate return merchandise authorization (RMA) activities.
- Manage device repair and replacement workflows.
- Track warranty claims and vendor communications.
- Process returned equipment and update inventory records.
- Ensure replacement devices are prepared and deployed promptly.
Customer Support & Operations
- Respond to and resolve customer support requests through ticketing systems, email, and phone support.
- Troubleshoot application, tablet, kiosk, connectivity, and user access issues.
- Assist users with password resets, account setup, and access management.
- Support mobile applications, web portals, and digital health platforms.
- Coordinate issue resolution with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Monitor active deployments and ensure successful implementation activities.
- Document support cases, resolutions, and recurring issues.
- Track and communicate support status updates to internal teams and clients.
- Assist with platform testing and validation activities prior to launches and updates.
- Support internal operational initiatives and process improvement efforts.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.
- Support client onboarding and deployment activities.
- Assist with operational reporting and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Live within commutable range to office in Henderson, NV (not a remote position)
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, inventory management, or device deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and business applications.
- Experience maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Preferred
- Experience supporting tablets, mobile devices, kiosks, or hardware deployments.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience with inventory tracking and asset management systems.
- Experience working in healthcare, healthcare technology, or managed care environments.
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms and customer support tools.
- Understanding of mobile connectivity, SIM management, and carrier services.
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant environments.
