Lockheed Martin Space will be hosting an invitation only in-person Hiring Event in King of Prussia, PA in June. To be considered for this opportunity, DevSecOps Engineer candidates generally have 5+ years of experience and an active Top Secret security access and the ability to obtain SCI access (U.S. citizenship required).

The Work

Lockheed Martin's Forecast Simulator program is seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer with an active Top Secret security clearance to work onsite from our Valley Forge, PA location.

This is a Professional (Level 3-4) role where candidates typically require 5+ years of experience and a BS degree.

As DSO Engineer you will:

• Engage in the fundamentals of design, implementation, and execution of common DevSecOps methodologies.
• Display the ability to install, integrate, test, fix, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite across a heterogenous environment.
• Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve a wide range of difficult technical problems.
• Support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
• The position requires attention to detail and the ability to efficiently run builds, deployments, analysis, and configuration resolutions for multiple integrated applications during software release cycles for development, test, and production environments.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Git
• Experience with C2S
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Python and/or shell scripting experience
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, effectively communicating technical concepts, fostering inclusive teamwork, and driving shared solutions to meet project objectives.
• Hands on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), with a solid track record of using the command line, package management, and system security across multiple distributions. May include academic experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance required prior to start and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of writing and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines
• Previous DevOps experience or software focus in automation
• Experience with Docker and/or Containerization.
• Knowledge in controlling third party software (COTS, GOTS, and FOSS) to ensure efficient storage and reusability across the program.
• Experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, Atlassian Tools JIRA, etc.)
• Experience developing maintainable Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, chef/puppet)
• Ability to support multiple release project schedules simultaneously
• Understanding of Test automation and how to implement in a pipeline approach
• Experience with static analysis tools and integrating into a pipeline (Fortify, Coverity).
• Understanding of containerization – experience with Kubernetes and/or helm charts
• Infrastructure implementation of virtualized hosts in VMWare or other cloud provider.
• Basic network understanding and diagnostics
• TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain SEC+ certification within 60 days of onboarding.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
