Dev Ops Engineering II-SUPPORT SERVICES-Applications-CTB

JOB ROLE: 

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

• Coding skills in more than one of the languages like Python, Perl, Shell Script, Java
• Well versed with IAS (Infrastructure as Code e.g. Terraform)
• Well versed with CI/CD and how to setup different pipelines using AWS / Azure / Git DevOps tools
• Well versed with OS level commands, knowhow of Kubernetes, Docker Containerization, Packaging and Deployment.
• Well versed with Databases both SQL and NoSQLs.
• Well versed with Observability tools for – logging, monitoring and alerting.
• Well versed security aspects – https, ssl, secure containers, key vaults etc.
• Well versed with Incident Management, Change / Release.
