Job Title: Desktop Engineer
Location: Frankfort, KY
Duration: Long-term Contract with benefits
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Main responsibility is to administer KSP Desktops, Notebooks, and Mobile Data Terminals (and accompanying equipment).
Hardware and software support, including specialized law enforcement software and devices.
Assist with IT equipment in KSP cruisers.
Work with vendors for support on workstation issues.
Coordinate with Tier 1 and 3 personnel on support issues
Work with the IT Ticket System
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned or needed by the agency.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Windows desktop operating systems support client hardware and software, including Office 365 applications
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Ability to create technical documentation
Provide Tier 2 support to other personnel in the IT Branch
Ability to receive training and retain new knowledge
Ability to be professional and courteous
