The Design Operations Assistant supports the Design Operations team in bring our portfolio of socks, hosiery, and daywear from ideation to execution. This role ensures tech packs, materials, and development-to-bulk production data are accurate, complete, and ready for vendor sharing via PLM systems and operational tools. The position partners cross-functionally with teams including Design, Global Sourcing, Sales, Marketing, and QA, to support development and bulk production workflows across multiple brands and retailers.


The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and follow established team processes, formatting standards, and workflows with minimal oversight. This role requires attention to detail, independent execution, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to support the transition from Yunique PLM to Centric PLM.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain AirTable charts and operational tools with accurate, real-time updates
  • Track and maintain materials, images, and product data within PLM systems
  • Support Tech Pack updates and regeneration for accurate vendor sharing
  • Partner with Design and cross-functional teams to ensure PLM inputs, packaging, and development details are complete and accurate
  • Collaborate with Tech Design to review physical Proto & Pre-Production (PPS) samples against specifications, identify discrepancies, and support weight establishment/finalization on approved samples.
  • Organize digital folders and development assets following established team standards
  • Track Sales/Planning team PREQ Request emails to accurately maintain Bulk Tech Pack approval chart in AirTable following established Design Operations
  • Follow Design calendar to support timely development-to-bulk production updates and milestones
  • Support workflow improvements and the transition from Yunique PLM to Centric PLM
  • Apply analytical thinking to troubleshoot issues, validate information, and identify process gaps
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external teams


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Design, Product Development, Production, Operations, or related fields
  • Experience working with Yunique and/or Centric PLM systems a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, AirTable, and related operational tracking tools
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support deadlines aligned with the Design Calendar
  • Adaptable and able to quickly learn evolving systems, tools, and workflows


Annual salary range starting at $50,000.
