Key Responsibilities- Provide lead direction in preparing clinical laboratory environments, including setting up simulation equipment, instructional charts, procedural models, and medical supplies in alignment with scheduled instructional activities
- Operate clinical and instructional equipment used in nursing education such as IV pumps, vital signs monitors, ECG machines, and simulation equipment, including performing periodic minor adjustments or repairs
- Maintain nursing skills laboratories, storage rooms, and departmental equipment inventory, ensuring security and proper storage of clinical materials and supplies
- Perform basic maintenance, setup, and minor repairs of nursing and health science laboratory equipment, including tubing replacement, calibration, light carpentry, and troubleshooting of simulation technology and medical devices
- Issue, stock, and check in nursing laboratory supplies including personal protective equipment, simulation consumables, and basic clinical tools
- Ensure laboratory activities and materials comply with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols and safe handling and disposal of biological waste
Minimum Qualifications- Associates degree in Nursing, Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Health Science or a closely related medical field.
- One year of experience working with medical or laboratory equipment.
Preferred Qualifications- Clinical experience in nursing, phlebotomy, or other healthcare environments
