Responsibilities

The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for:

• Providing excellent oral hygiene care to patients
• Educating patients on proper home-care routines and preventive dental health
• Taking diagnostic-quality dental X-rays
• Charting decay, periodontal conditions, disease, and treatment recommendations as directed by the dentist
• Applying fluoride treatments and protective sealants when appropriate
• Supporting doctors with patient care and clinical documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room
• Properly maintaining instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Creating a comfortable, positive, and professional experience for each patient

Qualifications

The qualified candidate should have:

• An active Dental Hygiene license
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
