Akvelon is a rapidly growing technology consulting and software development services company looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager. This critical role combines technical program leadership, financial oversight, and active sales partnership. You will ensure the successful, high-quality execution of technology services and drive business growth by collaborating with our Sales and Client Partner teams on custom proposals, up-selling, and cross-selling.
The position is on-site in Bellevue, WA. No exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead the execution of complex technology projects by working closely with global engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgeting, forecasting, and profitability to ensure financial health.
- Client Communication & Reporting: Provide effective internal and external communication, including leading regular client meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and status updates.
- AI-Native: effectively and safely leverage AI tools in daily routines, demonstrate fluency in AI productivity toolset for Engineers and ensure AI productivity gains throughout SDLC
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Strategic Consulting: Understand clients’ business needs, challenges, and objectives to propose and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within existing clients and prospects.
- Revenue Growth: Drive increased revenue by successfully cross-selling and up-selling Akvelon's technology consulting services.
- Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for client engagement and sustainable growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering) is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in delivery management or program management in a client-facing role within technology services/consulting.
- Strong technical acumen, including a deep understanding of technology trends and solutions such as cloud computing, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, a deep understanding of SDLC, SDLC metrics, and managed services KPIs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and drive measurable business growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
