Main Responsibilities
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Service Deli associates to ensure appropriate staffing and strong performance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, positive experience for every customer.
- Plan and oversee daily food production, inventory levels, and product availability.
- Prepare, merchandise, and maintain high‑quality hot and cold deli items, displays, and cases.
- Address and resolve customer questions or concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Operate and oversee the use of deli equipment, including slicers, scales, and food preparation tools.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature controls, and weights and measures regulations.
- Manage ordering, stocking, rotation, and presentation of deli products.
- Support sales through product knowledge, sampling, and promotion of deli offerings.

- Basic sales reporting and department operations
Abilities - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a work shift
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull deli products and equipment
Educational Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Travel Requirements - No regular travel required
Other Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of required food safety and company certification tests
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and dependable attendance
- Compliance with company uniform, grooming, and conduct standards
