The Decontamination Technician supports laboratory move activities by safely and thoroughly decontaminating equipment prior to relocation. This role works from established standard operating procedures, follows strict safety and cleaning protocols, and updates work orders in an electronic system to ensure equipment is ready on schedule. The position involves hands-on work with a variety of lab instruments and requires attention to detail, reliability, and comfort with both physical tasks and computer-based documentation.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite in a modern, state-of-the-art pharmaceutical laboratory setting. You will work directly in lab and support areas where specialized equipment such as biosafety cabinets, CO2 incubators, refrigerators, freezers, and microscopes are in use. The position involves standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and regular lifting and moving of equipment and materials up to 30 pounds. Work is guided by electronic work order and ticketing systems, with tasks prioritized according to move schedules and operational needs. The environment is process-driven and safety-focused, with established standard operating procedures and clear performance expectations. Dress will align with a laboratory support setting and may include appropriate attire and any required protective equipment as defined by site safety protocols.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.25/hr.
