BELHAVEN UNIVERSITY Faculty Position for the DBA Program – School of Business Belhaven University, a Christian university committed to the ministry of integrating faith and learning, is searching for a candidate for a full -time professor in the School of Business to teach and provide leadership to our rapidly -growing Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree program. This position is based at the main campus in Jackson, Mississippi. This is an open- rank, tenure -track position. Belhaven is l ocated in the historic Belhaven residential neighborhood just north of downtown Jackson. Jackson is a pleasant city with parks, bike trails, and a thriving arts and cultural community. The School of Business values strong partnerships within the community and within the university. Current faculty are collaborative and collegial with other departments working together on research, recruitment, and other projects. Responsibilities • Responsibilities include teaching online graduate courses . • Writing and/or revising curricula in the subject area. • Attending doctoral residencies, as necessary. • Candidates will be consistently involved in scholarly activity and participate in departmental activities that foster community. Required Qualifications • The successful candidate must articulate a Christian worldview in one's area of service and must fully support the University Vision, Mission and Statement of Faith. https://www.belhaven.edu/about/mission/ • The p osition will be supporting the quantitative elements of the DBA curriculum. Therefore, a Ph.D. or other doctorate in Finance, Accounting, Operations Management , IT/Data Science, or another closely -related discipline is required. • Prior online teaching experience is required. • Experience interacting with international students is preferred, but not required. • A record of industry work experience in a technology role is preferred, but not required.
