Pride Health is hiring a Data Center Specialist to support our client’s medical facility based in Plano, TX 55920. This is a 1-year assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Data Center Specialist
Location: Plano, TX 55920
W2 Pay (Local): $25/hr - $32/hr
Schedule: Day shift
Start date: 05/04/2026
Role Overview:
Supports data center operations by maintaining, monitoring, and managing IT systems and physical infrastructure.
Works onsite (Plano, TX) handling hardware, inventory, and operational tasks for a large enterprise (healthcare-focused).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate computer systems, servers, and equipment
Handle shipping/receiving, inventory tracking, and asset management
Install, move, and decommission racks and hardware
Perform cabling, racking, and equipment setup
Monitor systems and troubleshoot/escalate issues
Maintain documentation, SOP compliance, and audit readiness
Coordinate with vendors, project managers, and technical teams
Required Skills:
Knowledge of data center operations, servers, and infrastructure
Troubleshooting and problem escalation
Ability to follow technical procedures (SOPs)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to learn new technologies and stay calm under pressure
Education & Experience:
Option 1: Associate’s degree + 2 years IT operations experience
Option 2: High school diploma + 4 years IT operations experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Requires onsite presence and hands-on work
Healthcare IT experience is a plus
