Data Delivery Lead (Snowflake, PySpark, BI & Analytics)

📍 Location: Lake County, IL (Onsite/Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, DevOps, and Analytics solutions across multiple concurrent initiatives. This role will partner with cross-functional business and technology teams to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and reporting solutions.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring both strong technical expertise and the ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple data engineering, BI, and analytics projects simultaneously across development and operations teams
  • Design and implement scalable data platforms using Snowflake and modern data technologies
  • Drive end-to-end delivery including architecture, development, optimization, and support
  • Build and optimize Snowflake data warehouses (data modeling, performance tuning, cost optimization)
  • Develop scalable data processing solutions using PySpark and Snowpark
  • Establish reusable frameworks, standards, and automation patterns across teams
  • Create and deliver dashboards and reporting solutions using diverse data sources
  • Manage project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to define solutions
  • Act as a liaison between IT and operations to resolve production issues
  • Promote Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, Data Warehousing, or Analytics
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, optimization, performance tuning)
  • Expertise in SQL and Python
  • Experience with PySpark and/or Snowpark
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica IICS, PowerCenter, AWS Glue, or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams and projects simultaneously
  • Strong experience in data architecture and large-scale data processing
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Qlik Sense
  • Exposure to life sciences or pharmaceutical domain
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automation frameworks
  • Strong focus on process improvement and intelligent automation
