Role Overview

This position centers on building and refining predictive models to enhance demand forecasting, including contact center and volume planning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn complex datasets into actionable insights that support workforce planning and overall business performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to improve forecasting precision and operational planning
  • Design, develop, and optimize statistical and predictive models for demand and contact center forecasting
  • Apply time-series analysis, forecasting techniques, and scenario modeling to anticipate future demand trends
  • Partner with stakeholders across operations, workforce management, and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Translate analytical findings into clear insights using data visualization and storytelling techniques
  • Present results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support workforce planning efforts by improving staffing models and operational efficiency


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in advanced analytics and data science roles


Core Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in forecasting and statistical modeling, including time-series techniques
  • Proficiency in Python (required) and experience working with R
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
  • Solid foundation in applied mathematics, statistics, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
  • Ability to identify trends, analyze transactional data, and troubleshoot analytical challenges
  • Experience creating visualizations and effectively communicating insights
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in contact center analytics, workforce planning, or operational forecasting
  • Background in industries such as healthcare, pharma, biopharma, or insurance
  • Exposure to machine learning techniques such as regression, segmentation, NLP, or decision trees
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure), automation tools, and model deployment practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Curious mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and continuously learn
