The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The End-to-End Capability Product Owner within the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Product Management team will partner with senior leaders from various organizational levels such as Data Management & Insights (DMI), Data Management Solutions (DMS), Technology, Corporate Functions and the lines of business to enable delivery of features/capabilities across the EDL. The role will drive E2E architecture alignment, and BDL project integration to enable capabilities as per the strategic roadmap.  The role will also partner with technologies and BDL to ignite innovation that will allow for experimentation with POC and feasibility solutions.

This Senior Consultant role will lead efforts for Product Management, Product Roadmap, and Product Strategy for Enterprise Data Lake (Hadoop, Cloud Native) and Data Warehousing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with relevant stakeholders and business leaders to deliver capabilities as per the business needs to build a robust product roadmap and strategy
  • Collaborate and coordinate with executives and key leaders to maintain commitment to strategic objectives, alignment to EDL value proposition
  • Deliver EDL capabilities while ensuring balance with the data governance policies and procedures
  • Partner to develop and maintain a capability roadmap for the various capabilities (ingestion, integration, consumption, etc.) with rigorous investment analysis that is consistent with our holistic data strategy to meet business needs using value delivery approach and informed by current business needs and emerging technology trends
  • Understand requirements of LOB partners of data, analytics and reporting to inform technology to ignite innovation, experiment new products, run POCs, etc.
  • Partner with peers in DMS, DMI and EIT as the conduit to SMEs within Line of Business

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analytics capabilities on big-data architecture such as Hadoop
  • 3+ years of experience in data architecture and strategy

  • Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and product fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles
  • Experience with Banking Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies
  • Experience with Hadoop platform, Native Cloud data capabilities
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives
  • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and achieve results
  • Strong expertise in cultivating authentic Executive relationships and delivering formal change management across diverse business areas
  • Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking
  • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
