The Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for day to day data integrity operational functions within Revenue Management. This position will work to reduce the enterprise master patient index (EMPI) through duplicate record reconciliation.


The Data Integrity Specialist will respond to provider requested chart corrections to promote patient safety and ensure the integrity of the patient record.

The Data Integrity Specialist will assist patients with portal activation and portal proxy access via Customer Service Management (CRM) and provide phone support to the Portal Help Desk.

This position has the ability to work 100% remote for Colorado residents only; however first week will be in the office for equipment and software set up (Mineral campus in Centennial Co.)

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.Required
  • Associate Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Training in medical terminology preferred.
  • 1 year of health information management , patient access, or billing experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with the electronic health record (EHR) and health information systems and applications
  • Effective communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Attentive to details
  • Knowledge in health care compliance, HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws. Demonstrated computer
    aptitude on healthcare related applications. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrate
    excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience with Epic preferred
  • Registered Health Information AdministratorPreferred AHIMA credential – RHIA, RHIT

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
