Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise and hands-on exposure to StreamSets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/data pipelines and supporting enterprise data engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and database solutions
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using StreamSets
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards
• Support reporting and analytics requirements
• Document technical processes and workflows

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in SQL development and data engineering
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
• Hands-on exposure to StreamSets or similar ETL tools
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
• Familiarity with Spark or Hadoop
• StreamSets certification is a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
