We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building modern data platforms using Azure services, with a focus on data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics solutions.

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite/Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time - Only W2
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions
- Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks
- Develop and manage large-scale data processing systems using SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Implement data lake architectures using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Blob Storage
- Work with Azure Functions, Event Hub, and streaming technologies for real-time data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in software development or data engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data analytics
- Experience building data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and ADLS
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Spark-based processing
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data processing
- Strong understanding of data lake and lakehouse architectures
- Experience with version control and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure services such as:
- Azure Functions
- Azure Data Explorer (ADX)
- Azure Event Hub
- Azure Stream Analytics (ASA)
- Experience with Power BI and/or Power Apps
- Familiarity with Agile and product-based development models
- Experience working in cloud-native environments
- Airline industry experience (nice to have)
